Mumbai: On Wednesday, April 10, celebrated as World Homeopathy Day, renowned homeopath and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Mukesh Batra announced a special initiative to offer one month of free consultations across India during an event held at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi. This initiative aims to make homeopathic treatments more accessible to a wider audience, reflecting a strong commitment to promoting the benefits of homeopathy.
Particularly, the free consultations on the second Wednesday or Thursday will enhance the affordability and accessibility of homeopathy for needy patients.
Furthermore, Dr Batra, founder & chairman emeritus, Dr Batra’s® Healthcare, also launched his latest publication, ‘Difficult Homeopathy Case Studies Book – Healing People, Changing Lives’, during the event. The book features real-life success stories of patients, illustrating homeopathy’s capacity to transform lives across various conditions. It addresses non-communicable and lifestyle disorders such as high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, respiratory issues, skin and hair ailments, as well as rare disorders, among others.
“This book is a testament to the power of homeopathy in changing lives and creating a lasting impact. The work brings out the work of 64 distinguished doctors from the field, and is aimed at inspiring the younger generation of homeopathy practitioners and strengthening confidence in this science-backed system of medicine. With the continued support of the Government of India and the Ministry of AYUSH in promoting homeopathy as a credible and evidence-based discipline, we believe this book will serve as an essential resource in furthering research, education, and application of homeopathy,” said Dr Batra.
Dr Batra’s® also hosted a panel discussion on the theme, ‘The Future of Homeopathy’. The panel featured Dr Batra, Dr Tarkeshwar Jain, president of the Homoeopathy Education Board, registrar & managing secretary of the Homeopathy University, Jaipur and Dr Anil Khurana, former chairperson, National Commission for Homeopathy, Ministry of Ayush.
Additionally, World Homoeopathy Day marks the birth anniversary of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, the father of homoeopathy. Homeopathy. In India, this day holds a particular significance, as over 100 million people in the country depend on this treatment. Reportedly, the country has over 200,000 registered homeopathic doctors, with an additional 12,000 practitioners entering the field annually.
