Kerala health minister K.K. Shailaja said that only 142 people are under observation for coronavirus in homes and hospitals across the state. She said that while 137 are in homes, only 5 are in hospitals. “Of the 441 samples that were sent for testing, the results of 436 samples that have come are negative and the results of the rest are awaited. The condition of those under observation in the hospitals is stable and there is no need for any worry,” she said in a statement. She added that 579 who were under observation at their homes were given clearance to go ahead with normal life. Three of the patients including one who came from Wuhan, the epicenter of coronavirus were treated and discharged. The minister further opined that those coming from countries were coronavirus threat was high should stay at home and not mingle with public for sometime.
