Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi tweeted about the guidelines published by the Ministry of Health, Government of India, on home quarantine. “Some important information here, do read,” he tweeted.

Health ministry has stated that home quarantine is meant to prevent you and your loved ones. As per the guidelines those quarantined at home should stay in a very well ventilated room preferably with an attached toilet. Maintain a distance if another family member is also sharing the flat with the one suffering from coronavirus.

Quarantined individuals must stay away from elderly, pregnant women, children and persons suffering from chronic illness or those having low immunity levels.
