The Shanmukhananda Charitable Community health care centre has inaugurated a new centre for Contoura Vision Eye surgery ,which is the next generation Laser vision correction surgery to remove glasses and contact lenses. Setup at a cost of Rs. 4 crores,  Dr. Meghali Bhattacharjee , Sabha’s Eye Surgeon said during the surgery, the irregularities of the cornea are smoothened, making the optical surface of the eye nearly perfect resulting in a clear, sharp vision. Dr. V.Shankar, president of the Sabha said this centre  is started mainly to help those patients who cannot afford  to pay high charges in private hospitals  for this treatment . The cost will be very nominal for those who cannot afford this treatment.

The Medical centre of the Sabha is already providing Dialysis and Cataract surgery and other treatments for economically weaker sections of the society  at a very nominal or free of cost.
