China sacks political advisor for violating discipline

China has sacked a senior provincial level official over suspected serious disciplinary violations.
Tong Mingqian, a senior political advisor in China's Hunan province, has been removed from his post, Xinhua reported Saturday.
Tong had served as vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Authorities are investigating into his case according to the procedure, said a statement of the organisation department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
