EffileTower lights switch off as a mark of tribute to London victims

Paris, March 23: Lights on the Efile Tower will be switched off at midnight on 23rd March as a mark of tribute to those killed and injured in the ghastly terror attacks which took place in London today. 

The decision was taken by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo who stated that, " the two capital cities share a common love of freedom and an attachment to democracy and where tolerant cosmopolitan cities, open to the world". She further added that she would pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks, especially the three French High School students who were injured during the attack on the Westminster bridge. 

As a mark of their respect for the British state, Tony Kay deputy head of mission at the British embassy in Israel tweeted a pic of Tel Aviv city hall lit in the colors of the Union Jack. The parents of the injured French students have been flown into London on military planes in order to be by their children's side as they battle the injuries, it is being reported that at least one of the students is very critically injured.
