Indian paramedics trapped in Tikrit
The 44 Indian nurses are trapped in Iraq’s Tikrit which is under ISIL siege. The Ministry of External Affairs is closely tracking the situation in Iraq. The Indian ambassador in Iraq said, ‘It’s difficult at this juncture to evacuate people trapped there.’
 
Meanwhile, the nurses’ fraternity in India pleads government’s intervention in their release.
