Libyan prime minister kidnapped

Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan has been kidnapped from a hotel in Libyan capital Tripoli, a media report said Thursday.
Rebels kidnapped and took Ali Zidan to an undisclosed location, his spokeswoman told CNN. He was escorted out of the Corinthian Hotel in Tripoli by armed rebels who ushered him into a convoy of waiting cars.
A witness said the gunmen was respectful and "caused no trouble". Zeidan is a former human rights lawyer who worked in Geneva. He took office as prime minister November 2012.
Just a day ago, Libyan Islamists had threatened revenge after Al Qaeda leader Abu Anas al-Libi was captured by US forces from a Tripoli hotel
