New report on missing Malaysian jet to be submitted

A new joint report on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is being prepared to be given to the Malysian cabinet Wednesday, the country's transport minsirty said Monday.
The report would be based on the trilateral meeting which was held earlier this month between Malaysia, China and Australia, Malaysian Defence Minister and acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said.
The report would be made through joint efforts of the Malaysian transport, foreign and defence ministry, Xinhua reported. Hussein said that the report would include the suggested efforts to hunt for the missing plane and also the mapping of the seabed of the southern Indian Ocean.
The international panel of experts would decide on what should be made public, Hussein said referring to the request of the families of those onboard for further information.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 vanished mysteriously about an hour after taking off for Beijing from Kuala Lumpur shortly after midnight March 8. The Boeing 777-200ER was scheduled to land in Beijing the same morning. The 227 passengers on board included five Indians, 154 Chinese and 38 Malaysians.
