South Korean President Moon Jae-In’s spokesperson said that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has assured to close down their nuclear test site in May in the recently concluded meeting between the two Korean leaders.
Moon and Kim had met on Friday to end the long standing war between the two Koreas and in a meeting which concluded successfully.
The spokesperson also said that the closure ceremony will be conducted publicly and will invite experts from South Korea and the US as well. There will be a change in time zone also as North Korea's time zone is half- an-hour different from their neighbour.
Meanwhile US President Donald Trump stated that he will try his part to denuclearise the Korean subcontinent and will be meeting the North Korean leader Kim in the coming months.
