The Pakistani rangers opened fire along the international border early on Monday, injuring two Border Security Force jawans. The Indian Ministry of External affairs condemned this as an unprovoked assault that escalated the tension along the border in Jammu and Kashmir sector of the Western Command.

According to the Defence Ministry sources, the firing is still on along the border but no casualty is reported as of now.
