Peruvian prime minister steps down from post
Peruvian Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva Monday submitted his  resignation to President Ollanta Humala following a brawl with the country's  finance minister, Xinhua quoted an official source as saying.

Villanueva's resignation has been accepted by President Humala, said the official  news agency Andina. According to the report, Villanueva and minister of economy and  finance Luis Miguel Castilla quarreled over a disagreement about raising ministers'  salaries.

Castilla Sunday denied that he and Villanueva had agreed to an eventual salary  increase by saying he had been out of the country accompanying Humala.Villanueva is the fourth prime minister to resign from the post during Humala's  government.
