New Delhi: With Shardiya Navratri’s beginning, Ramlila begins in Delhi.

Staging of Ramlila of Shri Ram Bharatiya Kala Kendra (SBKK) has also started at Ramlila Maidan.

This Ramlila is being organised continuously for 85 years. Rajkumar Sharma has been playing the role of Ram for the last 25 years. 

Rituparna Das has been playing the role of Sita for five years, and Ghanshyam Khinchi has been playing the role of Ravana for 20 years. Padmashri Shobha Deepak, Chairperson of Shri Ram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, said that this Ramlila has been praised by almost all of India’s Presidents and Prime Ministers.
