Mumbai: The Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) Rehabilitation Centre transformed into a joyful haven as it hosted a heartfelt Holi celebration for cancer patients. This festival of colours provided a much-needed respite from their struggles, filling the air with laughter, music, and a sense of togetherness.
The Holi celebration was a vibrant affair, featuring delicious sweets, snacks, tea, coffee, and cold drinks for the patients to enjoy. The day was packed with fun-filled activities such as musical chairs and treasure hunts, which brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
As the music played, patients momentarily set aside their pain and worries, dancing with uninhibited joy—a rare and precious sight. The event was beautifully organised by PR Director Dr. Summan R. Agrawal, CSR Coordinator Rupa Dalal, and Saloni Drolia, who all worked tirelessly to make the day memorable. Their dedication ensured that each patient felt special, loved, and celebrated.
Patients Vaishali Gamre, Bassy Nadar, Deepa Patel, Geeta Pawar, Gangamani Bachwal, Rizwana Mansuri, Sadhna Thorat, and many others, along with their caregivers, expressed their heartfelt gratitude, sharing how this celebration brought them immense happiness and made them feel like family rather than just patients.

For those precious hours, the CPAA Rehabilitation Centre was not merely a place for healing but a sanctuary of hope, laughter, and love, demonstrating once again that true healing goes beyond medicine; it lies in moments of joy, companionship, and celebration. Under the compassionate leadership of Manju Gupta, Executive Director of CPAA (Rehab), the centre has rehabilitated over 35,000 patients, empowering them with skills such as stitching, printing, box making, candle making, and more. Her tireless dedication ensures that these brave individuals receive not only medical care but also dignity, purpose, and happiness.
