Ayodhya: In Ramnagari (Ayodhya), on the full moon of Shravan, many Shiva devotees take a holy bath in the river Saryu. After the sacred bath in Saryu, devotees perform ‘Jalabhishek’ at the Siddha Peeth Nageshwar Nath temple.
The local administration made elaborate arrangements for the safety of the devotees. Dedicated devotees were allowed entry into Nageshwar Nath as per the capacity of the sanctum sanctorum.
