New Delhi: Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated across the country on Monday. On this auspicious occasion, one lakh dishes will be prepared and offered to Lord Krishna at the ISKCON temple in Dwarka, Delhi.
ISKCON’s Youth Forum Director said that this time, more than 5 lakh devotees are visiting for the Lord’s darshan. Complete security arrangements have been made.
This time, 200 kg of cake will be offered to the Lord. The doors of Rukmini Dwarkadhish temple will be opened at 4:30 a.m. After offering one lakh dishes in the evening, a special aarti will be performed at 12 o’clock at night, the time of Lord Krishna’s birth.
