Haryana: Manu Bhaker, who won bronze medals in two events of the Olympics’ air pistol competition, reached her maternal home in Charkhi Dadri.

A felicitation ceremony was organised for Manu Bhakar in Charkhi Dadri, giving her a grand welcome. 

In the felicitation ceremony, Manu was honoured by politicians, including former minister Satpal Sangwan, international wrestler and BJP leader Babita Phogat, former MLA Ranbir Mandola, former MLA Colonel Raghuveer Chhillar and social organisations.

Manu Bhakar told the media that her dream had always been to win the gold medal.

On what happened with Vinesh Phogat in the Olympics, Manu said Vinesh’s spirit was like a fighter, and all should learn a lesson from this.
