Here s your protein report card

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi recommended introducing nutrition cards to increase awareness in India. Celebrating this initiative of National Nutrition Month, Right to Protein, a nation-wide public health awareness initiative launched the protein report card for citizens to self-assess themselves and improve their nutritional intake.

This will help people gain an understanding on whether their protein consumption is adequate or requires urgent attention. People looking to receive their protein report card should log in to the freely available Protein-O-Meter (protein calculator tool) and access their customized report card.

The programme is a direct result of the Prime Minister’s recommendations of introducing nutrition cards to raise awareness among public. Shri Modi had shared the recommendations recently last month and called to focus on quality and nutritious food intake and increase awareness among the younger generation.
