Want to go desi in this season of lockdown without much hassles! Turn your regular macaroni into a spicy one with Indian flavours. The Indian style macaroni is just what you need when you are home quarantined and restaurants outside are closed.

Mac and cheese are a great combination. This creamy pasta-like dish can be made in minutes and can be served as a breakfast or as an evening snack, whichever way you are comfortable with. Plain macaroni dipped in cheese is loved by many but if you crave for desi ones then you can switch the regular macaroni to Indian one with the typical Indian masalas.

Food vlogger Reshu in a video explains the ingredients and preparation that can make your food for the day. First, you need to make a mixture of vegetables and spice it up with masalas, boil macaroni in water, strain it and keep it aside. Thereafter, make a mixture of cut onions and tomatoes, add ginger-garlic paste and some chopped green chillies and capsicum. Once the capsicum is cooked, add the macaroni, mix it well, garnish with coriander leaves and it is ready to consume.

Indian masala macaroni is simple and easy to make. It can be a great dish to cook during ongoing lockdown as macaroni has longer shelf-life. It can also be a supplement for bread butter toast to make a complete meal for yourself and your family.
