A tough handshake

On Monday, China and India accelerated their bilateral talks by signing up on an 8-point deal covering issues like water resources, culture and trade. Both countries will explore new ways to relax the tension along border, stated Li Keqiang, after signing the agreement and Li and Singh agreed that recent disturbance at the border has taught some lessons even if present mechanisms proved their capability in handling the dilemma.
On the protocol between External Ministry of India and Foreign Ministry of China, regardingKailashManasarovarYatrathat was signed over by Mr. Wang Yi and Mr. Salman Khurshid, where both sides have agreed upon conducting an every year Yatra, with Chinese authorities ensuring smooth journey with improved facilities in routes and also by providing local SIM cards and wireless sets.
Another memorandum signed by Water resource ministry representing both countries have agreed that China will update India with rainfall, discharge and water level information twice a day, beginning from June till October every year with regard of three hydrological stations constructed at Brahmaputra river. Observers are of the opinion that border issue between India and China will take a long time to resolve and the matter is so complicated that it cannot be settled in a single official trip. This disturbance may hinder the developing economic ties between two neighbouring countries with their fast emerging market growth catching vibrancy compared to stagnant west economic scenario. Both leaders stressed on the fact that peace build on cooperation and trust will be given prime aspect.
