Jammu :Amarnath yatra was suspended for the day due to poor weather along the national highway Jammu-Srinagar on Friday.

Due to poor weather along the nearly 300 km long Jammu-Srinagar national highway, officials said no yatri car will be permitted to move into the valley today.

In the Jammu region, the MET department forecast moderate to heavy rain until July 29.
