Chennai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that the central government decided to repeal Article 370 of the Constitution, which granted Jammu and Kashmir a unique status as it did not benefit the nation or the state. 

After the publication of "Listening, Learning and Leading,"  a book that chronicles the two years in office of Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu.Shah said

"Article 370 was of no use to India or Kashmir," Shah said, adding that its repeal will put an end to terrorism in J&K and begin financial advancement and government growth.
