New Delhi: Union home minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that Kashmir's distorted history has been presented so far and that it is time to "write and present correct history to people." Speaking at a function of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Delhi, Shah said in his references to Kashmir, "Since the responsibility of writing history was in the hands of the same people who had committed mistakes, true facts were hidden as a result. I think it's time for people to write and present the right history. "There are many rumors about Article 370 and Kashmir making rounds even today. They need to be clarified. We know that Kashmir has been a matter of discussion and controversy since 1947, but it has presented distorted history to people," he said.He also attacked human rights activists during the exodus of Kashmiri pundits and questioned their silence.
