Kolkata: Thirteen Bangladeshi nationals from different areas of West Bengal have been arrested while trying to cross the Indo-Bangladesh border illegally since Wednesday, a statement from the BSF said. The statement said that four Bangladeshis were arrested from Basirhat, Gaighata on Thursday while attempting to sneak from Bangladesh into the country illegally. Four others were also arrested from Hakimpur area while trying to cross the border illegally from India. On Wednesday night, while trying to cross the border from the neighbouring country, five Bangladeshi nationals were arrested from Jayantipur, Petrapole, Gaighata and Hingalganj.
