Binny should have discussed grievance: Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said Wednesday Aam Aadmi Party legislator Vinod Kumar Binny should have discussed his grievances with senior party members before speaking to the media.
"Binny had come to meet me at my residence and demanded either a berth in the Delhi cabinet or a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha polls," Kejriwal told reporters.
"He was told that as per the party policy, tickets cannot be given to the sitting MLAs (legislators)," he said.
Kejriwal said that Binny, who defeated Congress heavyweight A.K. Walia in the December assembly elections, was even asked if he had any grievances at a party meet Tuesday but refused to speak.
Binny, in an interview, said that AAP has deviated from its path and was not able to fulfill its promises to the public.
He Wednesday denied any rift with party leaders and reiterated that he was not upset with the party decision to not make him a minister.
