BJP leads in 12 of 15 sea

Bengaluru: When the counting of votes started on Monday morning, the BJP surged forward. The BJP led in 11 constituencies, Congress in 2, Janata Dal (Secular) in 1 and an Independent candidate in 1 seat after eight rounds of counting.

In order to retain power, Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa will have to win six seats.
