A low intensity blast rocked an industrial township of Pune in Western Maharashtra on Thursday afternoon, police informed.

 

The blast occurred in the vicinity of Pharaskhana Police Station close to Dagduseth Halwai Temple in the busy Budhwar Peth area at around 2.30 PM. Top cops and bomb detection and disposal squad have rushed to the blast site immediately, while forensic experts are searching for credible evidence. The condition of those injured in the blast was not serious.
