Five workers were reportedly killed in a factory explosion in Raipur – the capital city of Chhattisgarh, late on Thursday evening, the police informed.

The explosion took place in Navabharat Fuse Factory on the outskirts of Raipur – merely five kilometers away from the state capital. The exact cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained.
