A cloudburst at Tehri district in Uttarakhand early on Thursday morning has reportedly killed three persons, the district administration informed.

The Himalayan state was experiencing heavy showers since past couple of days.

As calamity struck the region, rescue operations were launched on a war footing, the state government informed.
