Fire broke out at fourth floor in Delhi Police Headquarters early on Tuesday morning, the police sources informed.

‘Short-circuit may be behind this,’ a senior cop believed.  However the exact cause of the fire would be ascertained after a probe, he added.

Meanwhile, fire tenders reached the spot within fifteen minutes of the incident and brought the blaze under control.

No casualty is reported until now as the fire singed the police HQ early in the morning when the offices remain almost empty.
