One person was killed and three injured when an IED blast occurred near Krishnai police station in Goalpara district in Assam early on Wednesday.

The police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the entire area to ensure no evidence was tinkered with.

Till now no terrorist groups have taken responsibility for this blast.
