BSP candidate rues over bogus voting in 40 polling booths
A BSP candidate incensed over proxy voting in over 40 polling booths in Muzaffarnagardistrict has approached the Election Commission on April 10.
 
BSP candidate KadirRana in his objection alleged that proxy polling took place in over 40 booths of the constituency to spur voting in favour of BJP candidate, Additional District Magistrate IndermaniTripathiinformed media persons in Muzaffarnagar.
 
Rana has also called for re-polling in these booths, he said.EC has sought a report from district administration on Rana's complaint.
 
"The district administration has sent its report to the EC. The commission is yet to take cognizance of this," he informed. The polling in riot-hit districts of Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Saharanpur, Kairana and Baghpatwere held on April 10.
