New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced today on the public consensus on population census, stating that it is ' not a dull practice, ' and announced several features for digitalizing the census by 2021, "It's an exercise that helps bring the advantages of public systems to people. The National Population Register (NPR) will assist the government solve many of the country's problems." Shah spoke to reporters on New Delhi's Mansingh Road, where he laid the foundation stone for the Janganana Bhavan (census office). Sources added that the work for the Census of India office's new seven-story green building will be completed by 2021.
