Central Railway has decided to run six weekly AC specials between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Karmali to cope with the ever swarming passengers during Ganapati festival.

Train No. 02045, a weekly AC special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 01.10 hrs on Thursday and arrive at Karmali at 11.30 hrs the same day. During a fortnight-long festival, the train will shuttle thrice, on August 28, September 4 and 11, between the two destinations. 

Train No. 02046, another weekly AC Special, will leave Karmali at 11.55 hrs on Thursdays, shuttling thrice on August 28, September 4 and 11 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 22.15 hrs same day. 

The trains, with AC compartments and pantry car, will halt at   Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, and Kudal.   Bookings are open through Internet only.
