New Delhi: Delhi Police DCP Rajesh Deo, who revealed the connection between Shaheen Bagh shooter and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday, was barred Wednesday by the Election Commission from election duty. The poll body took a strong view of the Crime Branch officer and called his comment "totally uncalled for." On Tuesday, Deo told reporters that Kapil Baisala, who had opened fire on Saturday at Shaheen Bagh, was an AAP leader.
