In another attack on actress Deepika Padukone over her visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi, launched on Friday by Union Minister Smriti Irani, she said she must have known she was standing with people who wanted India to be destroyed. "I'd rather know what political affiliation is here than not. I think anyone who read the news knew where they were going to stand, (they) knew you're going to stand with people who wanted India to be destroyed," she said as she addressed an event in Chennai.
