A fire broke out in a three-storey building housing a software company's office at Nehru Place today. No casualty was reported, a fire department official said, adding that the blaze had started due to a short-circuit.

 

Guards and other staff of the company struggled to extinguish the fire, till the fire tender reached the spot.

 

According to the sources, fire tenders reached the spot immediately. "The fire has damaged the main office to a great extent. The computer systems and office documents were burnt completely," the fire department official said.
