Donald Trump India Pakis

Washington:The Indian-Pakistan relationship is now "less heated" than it was two weeks ago, U.S. President Donald Trump said, reiterating his offer to assist the two South Asian neighbors only if both of them want. Trump's remarks were his first, coming two weeks after his conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of France's G7 Summit on August 26. "As you understand, India and Pakistan have a conflict over Kashmir.  I think it  is a little bit less heated right now than (what) was two weeks ago," Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday. Tensions between the two neighbors escalated after New Delhi revoked the unique status of Jammu and Kashmir by scrapping Article 370 of the Constitution. "I get along very well with both nations," Trump said as he answered a question about his evaluation of the India-Pakistan scenario.
