Doon Express derails near Ambedkar Nagar, four injured

 

 

Four people were wounded when eight bogies of a passenger train derailed near Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh on Monday afternoon. According to railway sources, the figure of those injured is going to witness a rise.

 

The eight coaches of the Howrah-Dehradun Doon Express included six sleeper coaches and two general bogies. The incident happened around 2.42 pm.

Sources say the DRM, Lucknow has been sent to the spot. The incident has upset traffic on the rail route.
