The Governor has appealed to the voters in Maharashtra to exercise their franchise without being influenced by rumours or false propaganda.  He has appealed to the citizens to exercise their right to vote to advance the cause of democracy.

The Governor of Maharashtra Vidyasagar Rao has directed the State Director General of Police Sanjeev Dayal to make all arrangements to ensure that voters are able to exercise their right to vote fearlessly in the forthcoming elections to the State Legislative Assembly scheduled for October 15.
