Bordeaux: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is visiting France for three days, received the Rafale fighter jet at Dassault Aviation’s Mérignac facility in southwestern France.  After Shastra Puja, the annual worship of arms during Dussehra, followed the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The minister also went for a short trip in the aircraf.  Before the function, Singh met French President Emmanuel Macron and discussed stronger strategic ties with France.
