Tribal militants Tuesday killed five police personnel in western Meghalaya, police said.

 

 A group of 10-15 heavily armed members of the Garo National Liberation Army attacked a police team in Banjakona area in South Garo Hills district.

 

 The rebels snatched away three AK-47 rifles from the dead men.
