Foundation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram celebrated in Maharashtra Raj Bhavan

The State Foundation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram was celebrated for the first time in Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in the presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais on Tue (20 Feb).
The Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram State Foundation Day was celebrated as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of Government of India.
A cultural programme depicting the rich culture, folk dance and traditions of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram was presented on the occasion. The Cultural programme was presented by the students of Dr Homi Bhabha State University. Two audio visual films showing the beauty and well known tourist destinations of the two States were also shown on the occasion.
The Governor complimented the students of the University for their excellent cultural presentation.
A video message of Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd) was shown on the occasion.
Vice Chancellor of Dr Homi Bhabha State University Prof Rajneesh Kamat, Deans of affiliated colleges, members of faculty and students were present on the occasion.
