FUJAIRAH: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received Bishop Mor Osthatheos Issac, Patriarchal Vicar of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in India.

Sheikh Hamad welcomed Bishop Mor Isaac and emphasised UAE's approach of tolerance, amity, cooperation and respect for diverse cultures.

Bishop Mor Issac praised the UAE's model for peaceful co-existence and humanitarian initiative, aimed at promoting the culture of tolerance.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Danahani, Director general of the Fujairah Emiri Court, and a number of senior officials.
