The central government's decision to recruit people from private sector to appoint them at the joint secretary level has invited objections from bureaucratic society as they allege that this is purely against the civil service system and its reservation norms while modifying the bureaucracy in the country by satisfying the requirements of business organisations.

The personal department has issued advertisement inviting people those who have skill, dedication and also having interest in the national development.

The appointments will be in 10 ministries including Revenue, financial services, economic affairs, agriculture, road transportation, Shipping, environment, aviation and trade. The appointments will be on contract basis from 3 to 5 years.
