Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda inaugurated a nine-day National Tribal Festival, Aadi Mahotsav at Leh's Polo Grounds on Saturday. This is the Center's first mega event organized after the Ladakh region's announcement of Union Territory status. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of Tribal Affairs said the Centre would extend all necessary assistance to safeguard Ladakh people's aspirations.

Tribal Affairs MOS Renuka Singh said the Aadi Mahotsav would provide Ladakhi tribal artisans with an opportunity to join the Tribal Co-op Marketing Development Federation in expanding their market base.
