Gurgaon MP quits Congress party
Congress leader and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh Monday announced his resignation from the party.

The MP made the announcement at a massive rally in Rewari, about 55 km from Gurgaon, organised to observe the martyrdom day of Rao Tula Ram, one of the key leaders from the state of the First War of Indian Independence of 1857.

The Congress leaders of three districts of Haryana — Gurgaon, Rewari and Mahendragarh — also resigned from the party, along with leaders of the party from several other sub-divisions of the state.
