Hyderabad, Nov 11  GVK Power & Infrastructure said it posted a standalone net loss of Rs.6.55 crore for the second quarter of 2015-16 against a net loss of Rs.10.25 crore in the last quarter.

 
According to the unaudited standalone results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company total income from operations declined to Rs.12.33 crore from Rs.14.48 crore recorded in Q2 2014-15.
 
GVK Power & Infrastructure incurred an expenditure of Rs.3.39 crore in the analysed quarter against Rs.3.13 crore incurred in the last quarter.
 
On a consolidated basis, the company reported a net loss of Rs.123.5 crore against a net loss of Rs.235.5 crore clocked in Q2 2014 – 15 while total income from operations rose to Rs.1,115 crore from Rs.727.2 crore posted in the year ago quarter.
 
The company incurred a total expenditure of Rs.817.38 crore in Q2 2015-16 against Rs.689.01 crore incurred in the last quarter.
