12262 up Howrah – Mumbai Duronto, destined for Mumbai, was stuck at Thane railway station early on Thursday since 10.45 AM due to some technical snag in its engine.

This resulted in the delay of suburban locals towards Mumbai CST. A total commotion and thick rush were reported at Thane station as trains were diverted to other platforms.  At the time of going to the press the railway authorities were reported to have arranged an additional engine to haul the stranded Duronto Express.
