A newly acquired C-130J transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Gwalior Friday but there was no word on casualties, an officer said.
“The aircraft crashed 72 km west of Gwalior. It had taken off from Agra around 10 a.m. on a routine training mission,” an IAF officer told IANS here. “Rescue operations are on." It was not immediately clear how many passengers and crew were on board.
